Recipe

For a serving of an average adult, about 4 to 5 g ( about 1 whole piece ) of cleaned dry nest is recommended.

Initial Preparation:

1. Rinse and tear off the nest cup into strips in cold water, changing the water once
2. Clean off the feathers and impure materials if any
3. Soak white nest in cooled water (mineral water is preferred) for 30 to 40 minutes for it to expand and repeat the process again
4. Drain the bird’s nest, and place it in a porcelain container with water (mineral water is preferred) covering the nests
5. Add American ginseng, to enhance the benefit

Final preparation for double boiling:

1. Place the container in a large pan cover with hot water, the level of hot water should be about 1/3 the height of the container
2. Boil over low heat for 40 to 45 minutes
3. Add rock sugar or salt
